      Job Description

      This position is for a contract duration of 8 to 10 months.

      • Provide oversight and guidance for SHE/regulatory compliance/performance during the construction and installation phases.
      • Champion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractors and among the project team; supporting SHE&S Toolbox Meetings with the contractor’s team.
      • Monitor contractor activities for compliance with contractor-approved Project SHE procedures during the installation phase; liaise with the company team, contractor, subcontractor, vendors, and suppliers as needed; develop strong working relationships with contractor and subcontractor SHE personnel.
      • Liaise daily with contractor SHE officers to ensure the effective implementation of all Project SHE&S requirements; monitor daily the contractor’s activities and performance and reporting to the Jackets SHE Lead the safety performance and the data related to the contractor's compliance with the Financial KPIS requirements; coordinate delivery of specific SHE&S related trainings as per the Competency Matrix and ensure accurate records are maintained; monitor contractor/subcontractor SHE staffing and experience levels and effectiveness.
      • Enhance risk awareness and support/monitor the Project Behavior programs by ensuring at least 90% availability on-site at Project package locations; provide leadership and support to contractor and subcontractors SHE networks with particular emphasis on less empowered and experienced SHE officers.
      • Review with Project Package team and contractor, at contractor sites, the On Job Training sessions for the benefit of the workforce; implementing IIF Cards (or equivalent) and supporting contractor for deployment at the work site.
      • Ensure with contractor SHE team the correct implementation of the 10 Life Saving Rules Program (or equivalent) at contractor work site and intervene, record, and report to Jackets SHE Lead when violations are observed; analyze all unsafe behavior and condition data and propose trend improvement actions.
      • Perform daily inspections using “safety tools” (e.g., JSA’s Method statements, PTW, compliance checklists, Financial KPIS check sheets, Comply/Intervene/Care checklists); check regularly the Actions Tracking Register and advise the Jackets SHE lead on actions closure progress.
      • Daily PTW review to ensure all PTW’s and supporting documentation requirements are fully and properly implemented; participate in incident investigation and provide information to the Jackets Project Manager and lead any incident data analysis and trends identification.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelors / Diploma in Health Safety
      • NEBOSH IGC 1,2,3 , OSHA , ISO 9001-2015, IOSH
      • Offshore Experience
