      What is the opportunity?

      Are you a Senior Developer with proven experience in Identify and Access Management? Join RBC's Global Cybersecurity (GCS) Team and grow your Cybersecurity career with us! As a Senior IAM Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for leading, implementing, and supporting the Identity and Access Management (IAM) services within RBC. The ideal candidate is passionate about security with experience in building large scale enterprise solutions and has direct experience with multiple IAM services such as authentication, authorization, and identity governance.

      What will you do?

      • Develop (including unit test), enhance, and maintain code and documentation for the IAM solutions in accordance with the requirements and design.

      • Provide technical leadership and best practices on the IAM solutions and be a subject matter expert (SME).

      • Prepares change requests, plans, and coordinate implementations for production and non-production environments.

      • Assess the impact of proposed data or functional changes and provides feasible options and associated risks.

      • Define technical solutions that take into account the enterprise architecture strategies, current state environment and constraints, and analyze the viability of the solution to meet project timelines, budget, and quality.

      • Build, review, and provide input into architecture artifacts.

      • Identify opportunities for efficiencies by leveraging automation and other techniques.

      • Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners.

      What do you need to succeed?

      Must have:

      • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent work experience

      • 3-5 years of IAM experience with strong knowledge in development (installation, configuration, and coding) of an IAM tool for access request, provisioning, or attestation

      • 1-2 years solution architecture experience with an IAM tool for access request, provisioning, or attestation.

      • 5+ years of strong technical developer experience in Java, JavaScript, Shell scripting, and XML

      • Hands on experience with code management practices and tools (e.g. Subversion, GitHub)

      Nice-to-have:

      • Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, ServiceNow, and other tools with IAM or automation capabilities

      • DevOps experience with continuous integration/delivery best-practices, technologies and tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, and UrbanCode Deploy
