      JOB SUMMARY
      We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our team. As a Senior IAM Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IAM solutions to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's systems and data. Your expertise in IAM technologies, coupled with your strong technical skills and attention to detail, will play a critical role in ensuring secure and efficient user access management. The candidate must also possess above average soft skills and the ability to translate complex technical topics into comprehensive business language.

      Essential Duties/Responsibilities

      • IAM Solution Design: Design, architect, and implement IAM solutions based on business requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance standards. 5%
      • Creates high-level conceptual designs and detailed technical designs to ensure changes properly address business and technical requirements, follow determined architecture, and appropriately leverage SailPoint IIQ functions; creates high-quality technical documentation 5%
      • Completes complex development tasks, including creating/altering third-party integrations, changing the user interface, making record changes, and altering application packages to enforce robust business logic 5%
      • Helps to set and maintain quality standards and best practices for development and knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve SailPoint IIQ functionality 5%
      • Follows established enterprise development and design standards, guidelines, and processes; contributes to the evolution of company-level best practices, standards, and policies as it relates to software development 5%
      • Troubleshoots major development/integration issues with other technical project staff and finds new perspectives/solutions to resolve complex issues 5%
      • Assists in the preparation of deployment/implementation plans and the transition of knowledge to application production support teams 5%
      • Ability to balance competing priorities and be pulled from development into customer facing issues without disruption; ability to complete ad-hoc projects and responsibilities that may be added at the manager’s discretion 5%

      QUALIFICATIONS

      Education

      Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

      Work Experience

      Typically 5+ years Proven experience in information security, with a focus on identity and access management, preferably in a senior or lead role.

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

      Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with IAM technologies, standards, and protocols, such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and RBAC.
      Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions in complex enterprise environments.
      Proficiency in IAM toolsets and platforms, such as identity management systems, SSO solutions, privilege access management tools, and MFA solutions.
      Solid understanding of access control principles, authentication mechanisms, and identity lifecycle management.
      Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IAM, such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
      Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and API integration for automation and customization of IAM processes.
      Experience with cloud IAM solutions and familiarity with IAM in hybrid or multi-cloud environments is a plus.
      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM-related issues.
      Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
      Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC IAM certifications are highly desirable.
      Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with emerging IAM technologies, trends, and industry best practices.

      The salary range for this role is $76,000 to $182,400. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

      A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
