- Contribute to ongoing information security initiatives, development, implementation, and maintenance for FLU/Tech.
- Serve as an Information Security subject matter expert, participating in the development, implementation, and maintenance of information security for FLU/Tech.
- Provide guidance and advocacy regarding the prioritization of investments impacting information security.
- Advise management on risk issues related to information security and recommend actions supporting the bank's wider risk management and compliance programs.
- Monitor internal and external information security trends and keep leadership informed.
- Manage quality control and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with policies and laws.
- Lead complex challenges with solution offerings.
- Build strong partner relationships with peer technology groups and supported FLU/technology.
- Support the triage process with clients and help them understand the GIS support structure.
- Drive risk culture and partnership with peer technology teams and supported FLU/technology.
- Participate in key routines to drive information security risk strategy within FLU/technology.
- Drive GIS/FLU/Tech risk deliverables.
- Collaborate with risk partners on critical information security priorities.
- Participate in senior FLU/Tech Risk Management & Business Continuity routines.
- Identify and measure global information security controls on critical business processes or channels.
- Information Security & Technology professional with 10+ years' experience.
- 5+ years of risk management experience with proven ability to apply risk principles effectively.
- Subject matter expertise in application security, vulnerability testing, and risk appetite development.
- Experience evaluating cybersecurity controls for platform or distributed computing platforms (Cloud, PaaS).
- Experience with NoSQL, Big Data, and unstructured data stores (Cassandra, Hadoop, Teradata).
- Knowledge of Windows, Midrange, and Mainframe Platforms with emphasis on security and access controls.
- Exceptional executive presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to communicate messages effectively across varying technical understanding levels.
- Strong leadership skills for working with peers and management.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

The Information Security Officer will be a member of the Business Information Security Officer's (BISO) organization. You will work closely providing horizontal support to senior Front Line Units (FLU) / Technology executives and GIS leadership. Your role involves supporting a team to develop a deep understanding of the business to facilitate specialized information security risk-based discussions. This relationship will ensure a focus on the right risk priorities. You will also provide guidance on information security topics, policies, and controls.

Pay and benefits information
Pay range: $141,700.00 - $206,100.00 annualized salary, based on experience, education, and skills.
This role is eligible for the annual discretionary plan, with awards based on individual and company performance.
