- Instructional Design: Design and develop comprehensive instructional materials, including eLearning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, and user manuals.
- eLearning Development: Utilize eLearning authoring tools, primarily Articulate, to create interactive and engaging online training modules.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SMEs, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop strategies to address them.
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- LMS Management: Assist in creating and maintaining courses and content in the LMS, ensuring that training materials are properly uploaded, organized, and accessible to users.
- Evaluation: Implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements based on feedback and performance data.
- Technical Training: Focus on designing and developing technical product training that meets the specific needs of software users.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including storyboards, scripts, design documents and processes for creating content.
- Training Delivery: Cross-train content developers on templates, documents and processes to ensure effective and consistent delivery and understanding of product training.
- Provide guidance to other Instructional Designers in best practices.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human Resources, or equivalent experience in a related role required.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline, preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in instructional design, with a strong portfolio showcasing technical product training for a software company. Proficiency in Articulate and familiarity with LMS platforms are essential to succeed in this role.
- Web design, HTML, or CSS skills are strongly preferred.
- Instructional Design Expertise: Expert understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies, including ADDIE and SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy, and adult learning theories.
- Proficiency in content development tools, preferably Articulate, and familiarity with LMS platforms are essential to succeed in this role. Advanced proficiency in using Articulate 360 suite (Storyline, Rise) to create engaging and interactive eLearning content preferred.
- LMS Knowledge: Complete familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including their administration and management.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and convey complex technical information clearly and effectively.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and work independently.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise instructional materials.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of instructional design and development.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Sr. Instructional Designer II is responsible for the design and development of effective, engaging, and high-quality instructional materials for technical product training. This role ensures that training programs are aligned with the company's strategic goals and effectively support the learning and development needs of employees and clients.
The Sr. Instructional Designer II will lead the creation of training programs for technical products, utilizing expertise in instructional design, eLearning tools, and Learning Management Systems (LMS). They will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to identify training needs, develop instructional materials, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
