      Trinity Heads, Inc. is searching for a Senior Instrument Technician (1st shift) in our Navasota, Texas Facility. This role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to determine causes of operating problems in areas including but not limited to plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

      • Wires and programs electronics and control boxes with PLC or CNC programming.
      • Makes electronic, mechanical, or electrical repairs on all computer controlled equipment.
      • Performs complex repairs on production equipment motors and mechanical components including basic pneumatics and hydraulics.
      • Troubleshoots electrical problems up to 480v, performs preventative maintenance and testing on electrical wiring and components.
      • Performs preventive maintenance and electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to production and mechanical equipment, machinery and components.
      • Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints , and other specifications using electrical and electronic test equipment.
      • Lays out, builds, tests troubleshoots, repairs and modifies production electronic components, parts, switch panels etc.
      • May test new equipment, trouble shoot operation, make minor adjustments to equipment.
      • Maintains and completes all required records.
      • Follows all safety rules and practices.
      • May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Desired knowledge and experience:

      • High School diploma or GED equivalent
      • Minimum 2-4 years of related experience
      • Ability to ready equipment drawing, and electrical & hydraulics schematics
      • May require working above ground (15 ft. or more)
      • Must be able to climb ladders or stairs to reach objects, comfortable with heights.
      • May require working in narrow or confined workspaces for extended periods of time.
