Our Adviser business provides financial planning solutions and technology for UK financial advisers, enabling them to create value for their customers.
Our Investments business is a specialist asset manager that focuses on areas where we have both strength and scale to capitalise on the key themes shaping the market, through either public markets or alternative asset classes.
Developing and maintaining a broad series of relationships with borrowers, external brokers, originators and advisers. Transmitting an understanding of our investment requirements is critical, as is screening out transactions that are unlikely to fit within our investment mandates.
Preparing initial and, if deals are progressed, detailed credit analysis including credit ratings as well as ESG risk profiling
Structuring of transactions including a range of financial and other covenants on transactions.
Preparation and presentation of investment papers for investment committees
Working with clients to discuss transactions, pipelines, outlook and performance of exiting investments
Managing transactions from concept through execution to completion and maintenance
Support client and distribution teams in sales and market efforts. This includes client meetings, conferences, preparation of materials and authoring market materials
Assist with reporting and governance requirements
Experience within a bank, insurer or asset manager – ideally within a front-line origination role
Track record of originating senior lending deals across Europe (including the UK)
Experience of business and financial analysis – preferably from a credit perspective
Proven ability to lead transactions through their full life cycle
Demonstrable experience in risk analysis
Track record of working with and developing early and mid-careers colleagues

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced professional to support the origination and management of our growing Commercial Real Estate Lending business. Investing across the UK and Europe, we run several private credit mandates for key clients, mainly in the insurance and pensions arena, as well as internally managed funds and facilitating co-investments alongside large institutional investors. We are seeking a new member of the team who can contribute to growing this business as well as managing an extensive portfolio of existing investments.
