  IT Production Application Support - Backdesk

  We are currently hiring for Information Technology Team "IT Application Development and Operations" as part of ZF Strategic Digital Transformation initiatives.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled IT Production Application Support - Backdesk to join our team, focusing on maintaining and

  supporting critical production applications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • This role will primarily involve the management of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SCADA systems used on the

  shop floor.
  • The ideal candidate will possess expertise in high availability and resilience, ensuring that our production systems run smoothly

  with minimal downtime.
  • The role requires someone who can quickly learn new technologies and adapt to a constantly evolving environment,

  while working effectively to support mission-critical applications.
  • Provide 24/7 support for MES and SCADA systems in production environments, ensuring maximum uptime and

  system performance.

  Your profile as IT Production Application Support - Backdesk (m/f/d):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience with MES, SCADA, or similar production systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with industrial protocols (e.g., OPC, Modbus, Ethernet/IP) and production-specific technologies.

  Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and effectively*.
  • Experience with system monitoring tools and platforms (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)*.
  • Hands-on experience with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.) and server administration (Linux/Windows).
