      Join our Training team, where you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering modern training and crew solutions for maritime and naval projects. Fleetway is driving the integration of combat and platform systems for sailors who will join the River Class Destroyer fleet.       Qualifications

      • A diploma or post-secondary degree with a major in:
        • Computer science, software engineering, engineering graphics, interactive media or education technology
        • Gamification/interactivity design for e-learning
      • 5-8 years of experience working with some or all of the following:
        • Programming languages such as: JSON, XML, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java,C, C++, Python
        • Learning specifications such as: xAPI, cmi5,SCORM
        • Development tool suites such as: Microsoft DEVOPs, Git
        • Service architectures such as: REST, Cloud, SOA
        • Project management techniques such as: ADDIE, Agile
        • Training Standards such as S1000D, S6000T and S3000L
        • Systems and software engineering technical standard ISO/IED 15288
        • Integrated Data Environments (IDEs)
        • Development and maintenance of technical documentation, including requirements and design specification
        • Candidate must be eligible for NATO Secret Security Clearance

      Responsibilities

      • Support the design, development, implementation and verification/validation of the River Class Destroyer training devices (trainers).
      • Responsible for the development and maintenance of detailed documentation, including integration plans, requirements and design specification for projects within the Training department.
      • Play a lead role in the initial training devices project scope, design, and planning meetings.
      • Work with other team members and sub-contractors to offer insight, advice, and technical expertise to stakeholders.
      • Act as a leader and mentor to junior team members; be hands-on and lead by example.
