      Wilson Sonsini, a leading technology and life sciences law firm, seeks an empathetic and detail-oriented Senior Leave of Absence Administrator to support our talented professionals. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our employees' lives during important personal milestones and challenging times.

      This role can be in any of the firm's offices with a hybrid work schedule, and we will consider fully remote.

      What You'll Do

      In this role, you'll orchestrate comprehensive leave programs while providing compassionate support to both attorneys and staff.

      Create Exceptional Employee Experiences

      • Guide employees through their leave journey with empathy and expertise
      • Provide strategic counsel on various leave types including FMLA, disability, parental leave, and more
      • Ensure seamless return-to-work transitions through thoughtful coordination

      Lead Program Excellence

      • Manage end-to-end leave administration using Workday
      • Partner with third-party vendors for compliance and claims
      • Calculate and coordinate leave benefits with precision
      • Develop clear, accessible resources about leave programs

      Essential Qualities

      • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
      • 5+ years of HR or leave administration experience
      • Deep knowledge of leave programs (FMLA, ADA, disability benefits)
      • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
      • Strong technical aptitude with Workday and Microsoft 365

      The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:

      San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $102,000 - $138,000 per year

      Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $91,800 - $124,200 per year

      Salt Lake City and all other locations: $81,600 - $110,400 per year

      The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
