      POSITION SUMMARY:

      We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Manager of Agile Delivery to support the transformation and to lead our team of Scrum Masters and establish a scalable, practical Agile Center of Excellence (CoE) at NMDP. This role is key to maturing our Agile delivery capabilities and driving consistent practices across our IT organization.

      You will play a hands-on leadership role in building and mentoring a centralized Scrum Master team, supporting cross-functional teams in adopting Agile ways of working, and working closely with IT leaders to develop best practices, delivery standards, and supporting tools.       ACCOUNTABILITIES:

      Scrum Master Team Leadership:

      • Lead and manage a team of Scrum Masters that support delivery teams across the IT organization.
      • Support career development, performance feedback, and mentorship for Scrum Masters.
      • Align Scrum Masters with delivery priorities, Agile coaching needs, and strategic initiatives.

      Agile Practice Maturity:

      • Establish and lead an Agile Center of Excellence (CoE) to define, evolve, and share Agile best practices and delivery standards.
      • Support the adoption of Agile frameworks and tools across diverse teams, adapting approaches to meet teams where they are in their Agile journey.
      • Promote consistent, lightweight Agile governance across delivery teams.

      Tools & Process Enablement:

      • Drive consistency in Agile tooling by partnering with delivery, engineering, and PMO teams.
      • Develop and maintain templates, playbooks, and guidance to support Agile delivery and ceremonies.
      • Help establish and support Agile communities of practice.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      Knowledge of:

      • Agile frameworks and tools
      • Best practices and delivery standards in Agile
      • Agile governance
      • Strong working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and related Agile frameworks; SAFe or other scaling frameworks a plus.
      • Skilled in Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, Confluence, or Miro.
      • Metrics and reporting related to Agile maturity and team performance.
      • Strong communicator, collaborator, and coach — able to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
      • Passion for change management, continuous improvement, and building an Agile culture.

      Ability to:

      • Act as a coach and partner to product owners, delivery leaders, and business stakeholders in Agile principles and practices.
      • Collaborate with IT and business leaders to identify opportunities to improve flow, predictability, and team health.
      • Support changing initiatives by helping teams adopt new behaviors and delivery models.
      • Partner with delivery teams and leadership to track Agile maturity, team performance, and process improvements.
      • Identify and escalate risks to delivery consistency, impediments, or tool limitations.
      • Contribute to the development of dashboards and reports that measure adoption, outcomes, and Agile health across teams.

      Education and/or Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering/business with an emphasis in Information Technology. Equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for degree requirement.
      • 8-10 years of experience in Agile delivery environments, including experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Lead and emphasis on strategic execution.
      • 4 years or more of experience managing or mentoring Scrum Masters and/or driving Agile adoption across multiple teams.
      • 2-4 years’ experience demonstrated success in helping teams and organizations establish or mature Agile practices, especially in early-stage or hybrid environments.

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)

      • Agile certifications are a plus (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, ICAgile Certified Professional).
