Overview The Business Intelligence Senior Analyst (Lead Business Intelligence) is part of the Data Impact Benelux team. This team is responsible for supporting the Benelux commercial data strategy and ecosystem through developing and implementing advanced analytics solution and a comprehensive business intelligence roadmap. The team works closely with the marketing & commercial ecosystem to ensure all commercial data are leveraged in the most optimal way. This role will help to enable accelerated growth for PepsiCo by contributing to the BENLUX BU Brand Marketing team while also working alongside the marketing and analytics team. This role would involve in BI Ideation & consulting with the business & technical team and would be responsible to Design, Build/standardize/enhance BI solutions. The person will collaborate and partner with various data and advanced analytics teams to collectively deliver on the problem statement through optimum, standardized & user-friendly BI solutions. Primary responsibilities include Designing, Developing and Updating existing dashboards, Excel/Power BI reports (Power BI /Tableau/Looker Studio) , delivering periodic and on-demand brand reporting, and addressing ad-hoc requests based on internal and external data sources. The role will execute optimization of the data-based Insights & Analytics processes, including ad hoc questions and overall automation of delivery where applicable. As a member of the Data Impact team, he/she will lead the translation of strategic business questions into BI use cases and ultimately business impact through capturing needs, preparing relevant data sources, and translating raw or curated data to intuitive dashboards. Responsibilities Communicate effectively with business to understand business needs, anticipate requirements more accurately and suggest best solution approach Co-own data infrastructure in collaboration with data engineer maintain and automate commercial data sources and assess improvement potential for the existing strategy. Thus Advocate & Implement enterprise Business Intelligence standards, best practices and approved BI techniques Lead design, code & process review sessions to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and performance guidelines. Design BI solutions based on guided analytics approach and best in class story telling delivery mode Own and maintain existing commercial reporting landscape; assess automation and harmonization potential and align with commercial stakeholders on their reporting needs Work alongside of peers and inculcate best practices (data prep tools, connected data approaches, data cataloguing etc. which can elevate the team’s ability to tackle business and technical challenges Execute market, portfolio, brand & promotion campaign performance reporting (utilizing dashboards, templated decks, and reporting tools) Use tools like Alteryx and Azure Databricks to prepare data for analytics use cases Work with commercial teams and translate their strategic business questions into analytics use cases Explore Automation opportunities with Higher focus on developing significant Insights for the Marketing Team Qualifications 8+ years FMCG insights and BI experience Can synthesize multiple, disparate data sources into compelling growth strategies. Formulates a strong POV and can articulate future scenarios and is an exceptional storyteller Strong ability to research and find technical solutions via technical community collaboration Independently mine data using SQL/Big Query to translate Business data needs into creative visualizations Ability to research, plan, organize, lead, and implement new processes or technology Proven analytics, data research experience, consumer insights experience or commercial experience in combination with Good degree of familiarity with CPG and Food & Beverage industry data sources, including Nielsen (POS and HH panel), Kantar Worldpanel, and Media/Promotion Data, etc. Deep understanding of FMCG industry business performance outputs and causal measures, their relationships, and how to bring business performance insights to life visually Proficient with PowerPoint and Advanced Excel; including ability to write complex formulas and Strong experience in Power BI – Backend/Frontend Previous experience with data preparation tools like Alteryx and Azure Databricks Experience in Databricks and Python/PySpark – Should be able to perform an ETL transformation of a mid-large scale dataset Fluent English communication skill Essential: Business Intelligence tools -Both frontend and backend Solution-oriented approach to problem solving Business inferences and story telling8+ years FMCG insights and BI experience Can synthesize multiple, disparate data sources into compelling growth strategies.
