      SENIOR MANAGER, CLINICAL PROGRAM OPERATIONS Non-Amgen Sponsored Clinical Research (NASCR)

      What you will do

      In this vital role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing regional operational activities related to the planning, implementation, and reporting of NASCR.

      You will partner closely with Global Medical Organization towards evidence generation for the evolving Amgen portfolio.

      You will oversee the support of Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS), Research Partner Studies, and Expanded Access (EA), ensuring global standardization and ongoing value-add process improvement, in alignment with applicable SOPs and guides

      Key responsibilities:

      • Oversee regional planning, management, and reporting of NASCR as well as regional cross-functional NASCR activities, identifying and resolving issues for global standardization

      • Act as regional subject matter expert in global process standardization and process improvement initiatives, partnering with NASCR Director and counterpart Sr. Manager(s) to ensure global alignment and standardization in process (including participation in standards authorship or review)

      • Escalate issues (cross-functional and/or study specific), as appropriate, to Director NASCR, and either lead or support resolution

      • Establish and maintain global cross-functional business relationships as well as internal and external client/customer satisfaction

      • Ensure regional NASCR supported in accordance with global ISS and EA SOPs and other supporting documentation

      • Oversee or input into regional NASCR resourcing to meet demand

      • Manage and/or provide support to NASCR regional and local staff and provide oversight to CPO NASCR FSP staff, as applicable

      You would be joining a Global Development Operations (GDO) group, entails line management responsibilities, and reports to the Director of Clinical Program Operations, NASCR.

      • Degree educated, BS/BA/BSc in the sciences or RN

      • Demonstrable work experience in life sciences or medically related field, including biopharmaceutical clinical research or clinical operations experience (experience obtained working on clinical trials at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company

      • Previous management experience of direct reports, including management level staff

      • Experience at or oversight of outside clinical research vendors (CRO’s, central labs, imaging vendors, etc.)

      • Problem Solving and solution orientated mindset

      • Strong relationship building skills
