      The Senior Manager, Commercial Transformation will be part of a small but instrumental team that is responsible for leading the transformation of the Global Commercial team. The vision of this team is to inform strategy, drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency through resource and system improvements. Reporting directly to the VP, Commercial Transformation, this individual partners with the Commercial Leadership team as well as cross-functional stakeholders, to lead ongoing transformation initiatives and to identify new projects that should be taken on to modernize our Commercial strategy and structure.

      This role requires the ability to actively listen to the objectives of disparate groups across all functions and synthesize a cohesive solution. The ability to understand and navigate a complex landscape and creatively work with diverse teams is a must. While this particular role has a transformation focus on the US market, this individual plays a key support role in reviewing global processes and transformation activities in the European markets, as there is a large amount of change underway for the next several years.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Organize, motivate and collaborate with business stakeholders to determine the best way to re-engineer workstreams and processes

      • Provide decision support by working with leadership to distill and organize recommendations for senior-level approval (anticipate requests for additional information, support with additional research or information analysis and surface key takeaways to ensure content is presented in a digestible format)

      • Run and manage meetings for key projects across multiple stakeholders with clear agenda, follow ups and next steps

      • Take lead on managing special projects for the Office of the CRO (ex: Office Planning & Operations, Commercial Performance Awards)

      US: Ongoing Transformation

      • Drive always-on evaluation of US Commercial structure to ensure we are meeting external and internal business needs

      • Support VP, Commercial Transformation in working with members of the Global Commercial leadership team to identify ongoing structural & operational areas of improvement. Own specific projects from ideation to implementation; examples include launching new roles, process improvements to remove roadblocks, etc.

      • Serve as liaison between HR, Finance, and Commercial to ensure structure aligns with strategy and run point on one-off initiatives or key projects, escalating to VP, Transformation as needed

      • Facilitate cross-functional decision making need to achieve Commercial goals across the US

      • Serve as a change management champion, coordinating initiatives and leveraging appropriate tools to drive sustainable transformation

      Global Commercial: Business Process Management

      • Under the guidance of VP, Commercial Transformation, work with the team to rethink how we do business by uncovering insights, identifying new strategies to pursue, quantifying gains, and proposing change to leadership, specifically:

        • Work with team to build out the practice of leveraging data and analytics to help drive business decisions

        • Identify areas for workflow improvement and redesign existing workflows around newly established processes

        • Develop measurement methodologies to calculate savings, ROI, cost reduction and yield for process, system, or resource changes made to organization

      Desired Skills and Qualifications

      • 4-7 years relevant professional experience; marketing, media operations, creative strategy, advertising, sales, account/project management preferred

      • Proven creative problem-solving and quantitative skills. A strategic thinker

      • Strong interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

      • Excellent organizational skills providing the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities under tight timeframes

      • Strong oral/written communication skills, solid presentation skills, and excellent analytical skills are essential

      • Self-driven and a self starter with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a deadline-oriented environment

      • Demonstrated discretion and professional maturity when working with confidential information

      Base Salary: $91,000 to $117,000
