      The Senior Manager of Credit and Collections is responsible for maintaining Company credit policies and procedures related to the following Commercial entities: US; Canada; Latin America; Distributors. A critical responsibility of this position is to recognize and manage the balance between driving revenue growth in the organization while having a firm hand on credit risk assessment. This role is the primary contact for all credit related matters for other internal departments including but not limited to: US and Canada Commercial teams; Finance; IT; Treasury, eCommerce. The Senior Manager oversees a team of credit and collection specialists (approximately 15 employees) providing direction of the daily operations.

      Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

      • Establishes departmental policies and procedures for the Company consistent with corporate policies.
      • Member of Commercial leadership team, supporting business priorities while articulating Credit risk and requirements
      • Review, analyze and interpret customer financial data to assess risk and take appropriate actions with information. Maintains key relationships with internal teams and external customers to identify credit risks before identifiable in past-due balances
      • Lead, inspire, develop, and manage a group of high functioning individuals to perform at the highest level and support world-class brands. Ensure organizational efficiency through collaboration, training, and development of the internal teams.
      • Provides direction and guidance to team members for timely review and release of credit held orders worthy of release
      • Works with finance and audit teams through internal and external audit requirements.
      • Develop and maintain AR forecasts and 13-week cash forecast utilized in Treasury planning
      • Review, analyze and approve sales programs, sales terms and conditions, and credit policies in order to balance accounts receivable carry costs against sales and service goals
      • Decision maker for granting new credit to potential TaylorMade accounts aligned with internal Grants of Authority.
      • Identifies continuous improvement opportunities within the team and consistently works to expedite collections aligned with relevant company metrics.
      • Represents the Company on all bankruptcies and legal proceedings
      • Partners with IT and Customer Service teams to define and implement system and process improvements relating to the functional responsibility
      • Drives periodic analysis of market, economic, industry and business conditions affecting the company's credit policies
      • Responsible for oversight of monthly recurring reports including A/R Aging, Cash Collections, DSO Calculations, etc. Provides key stakeholders information as needed to facilitate informed business decisions (i.e. aging, order hold status)
      • Performs other related duties and assignments as required

      Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

      • Exceptional English communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
      • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial credit laws and regulations
      • Knowledge of various credit security instruments.
      • Knowledge of credit and collection concepts, techniques and principles.
      • Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to hire, train and motivate teams to perform with high quality and efficiency. Ability to delegate effectively.
      • Strong analytical skills, able to "read between the lines" of reports and financial statements and determine appropriate courses of action.
      • Knowledge of credit research methods.
      • Highly passionate, problem solver with strong creative and analytical skills
      • Ability to be flexible and work within a fast paced, ever changing environment
      • Strong math skills and advanced ability within Excel and databases
      • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
      • Strong working knowledge of company policies, practices and guidelines.

      Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
      • 10+ years’ experience in corporate credit and collections with a multi-national organization
      • 4+ years of direct management experience leading teams and influencing cross-functionally

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

      • Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage
      • Ability to work extended hours as necessary
      • Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
      • Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials

      TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000 . Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
