      JOB TITLE: Senior Manager, Credit Ratings, Issuance and Debt Programme Management

      SALARY: Depending on skills & experience, will be discussed at interview stage

      LOCATION(S): London

      HOURS: Full time

      WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

      The Senior Funding, Debt IR and Ratings team has broad responsibility, including maintaining the relationship with Credit Rating Agencies and the strategy for engaging debt investors. We also issue senior and covered bond funding into debt capital markets.

      In this role you’ll work with the Head of Senior Funding, Debt IR and Ratings on the engagement with the Moody's, S&P and Fitch; maintain relationships with internal and external partners; be involved in the management of the Group's debt programmes; and be responsible for the planning and execution of all term issuance needs for Lloyds Bank plc and LBCM.

      Day to day you’ll:

      • Manage the credit and ESG ratings for all Group legal entities; understand the ratings methodology and focus areas of each of the agencies.

      • Manage all rating agency costs!

      • Plan and run issuance of funding trades for Lloyds Bank and LBCM.

      • Run the Group’s OpCo debt programme management activity.

      • Build links, communicate effectively and influence senior partners internally and externally.

      • Build knowledge of capital markets, the banking/financial services industry and the regulatory environment in which the Group operates.

      What you’ll need

      • Capital markets issuance experience and knowledge of debt markets

      • Knowledge of Credit Rating Agency and ESG rating methodologies

      • Knowledge of debt programme and debt disclosure management

      • A degree in Finance graduate with demonstrable experience in a similar role

      And any experience of these would be really useful

      • Develop colleagues across the team to achieve their full potential.

      • Confident in verbal presentation with excellent attention to detail!

      • Excellent influencing and communication skills across a broad range of colleague groups.

      This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing ‘significant harm’ to customers. Due to this, successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role. Colleagues performing this role will be required to be complete a fitness and propriety attestation on an annual basis and will also be subject to additional routine criminal and credit checks

      This role has been identified as a Client-dealing function under SYSC 27.8.18R as defined in the FCA Handbook

      The Person (“P”) performs the client-dealing FCA certification function for a firm if:(1) P is carrying out any of the activities in the table in SYSC 27.8.19R; and(2) those activities will involve P dealing with:(a) a person with or for whom those activities are carried out; or(b) the property of any such person;in a manner substantially connected with the carrying on of regulated activities by the firm.

      If you manage certified colleagues this role will be identified as Manager of certification employees under SYSC 27.8.13R as defined in the FCA Handbook(1) The function of managing or supervising a certification employee, directly or indirectly, is an FCA-specified significant-harm function.(2) A function in (1) is not an FCA certification function for that firm if it is performed by an SMF manager of that firm.
