Support GFMS’s mission and whole-of-ecosystem vision for scams management by delivering key papers and reports to a broad range of stakeholders, including Government.
Work closely with brand stakeholders and executives to ensure the operating context and capacity of each BU is understood through a suite of policy documents. These will act as a reference to accelerate delivery of SPF policies and procedures.
Develop and deliver risk-based reporting for senior stakeholders and the Board, including the Fraud and Scams Risk Management Declaration and Risk Appetite Statement.
Lead GFMS contributions to public-facing reports and communications alongside the General Manager.
Maintain live project plans visible to senior stakeholders, and confidently present written and verbal progress summaries to a range of forums.
Keep a watching brief on the scams regulatory landscape in Australia and overseas, in countries where the Group has a local interest.
Develop deep expertise in BW and ASB operations, acting as the central point of contact for scams-related policy and governance across these entities.
Lead the creation of tailored policy position documents for BW and ASB, ensuring alignment with Group-wide strategy while reflecting their distinct operating environments.
Demonstrate a natural curiosity about fraud and scams, combined with genuine care for our customers and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes.
Collaborate well across complex environments, interpreting the policy needs of multiple parties with diverse viewpoints.
Apply strong leadership, advocacy, and negotiation skills to reach a combined position for the Group that best achieves desired outcomes.
Develop a deep understanding of business, data, risk, and legislative contexts, and respond to incoming requests accurately and at pace.
Draw out key messages and positions in written documents, briefs, and presentations, surfacing decision points in meaningful, easy-to-understand ways.

Do Work That Matters
The Fraud and Scams Strategy and Governance Team is responsible for developing governance frameworks, embedding risk management into strategic planning, and delivering policy architecture under the new Scams Prevention Framework (SPF).
You’ll be at the forefront of designing a new suite of governance practices and establishing policies that articulate the Group’s approach to scam prevention, detection, and disruption for Government in the coming year.The role
As Senior Manager – Cross BU Policy & Governance, you’ll coordinate the delivery of scam-related reporting across the Group’s brands and track the progress of SPF initiatives to meet compliance obligations. This includes building a fraud and scams roadmap for each brand through deep consultation and ensuring initiative timelines are reflected in combined policy briefings for the Group.
