      Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Data Architect!

      In this role, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures in support of advanced analytics, AI/ML, and GenAI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in building and managing large-scale data lakes and modern data platforms, combined with proven leadership in enterprise data architecture.

      As a key member of our data and analytics organization, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data science, product management, and business stakeholders, to define and drive the data strategy across the enterprise.

      Responsibilities

      · Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure data architectures to support enterprise-level analytics and GenAI solutions.

      · Develop and optimize data models (logical, physical, and semantic) for structured and unstructured data sources to enable efficient access and use.

      · Lead the architecture and evolution of large-scale data lakes and modern data platforms (e.g., Lakehouse, cloud-native).

      · Define and govern best practices for data ingestion, transformation, storage, access, and governance.

      · Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, and Information Security teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

      · Guide and mentor data engineering teams in implementing architectural standards and frameworks.

      · Partner with analytics and data science teams to ensure data architecture supports current and future analytical workloads, including traditional BI, predictive modelling, and generative AI.

      · Drive architectural reviews, technology assessments, and vendor evaluations for data and analytics technologies.

      · Provide leadership and contribute to strategic planning for data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.

      · Communicate architectural decisions and strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

      · Experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics, with experience in a leadership or managerial role.

      · Proven experience designing and implementing data lakes and modern data architectures at scale (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

      · Strong expertise in data modelling for analytics, including dimensional modelling, data vault, and semantic layers.

      · Hands-on experience supporting AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives from a data architecture perspective.

      · Deep understanding of enterprise data management, metadata management, master data, and data governance frameworks.

      · Strong grasp of data integration patterns, APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time data processing.

      · Strong technology leadership with modern data platforms, tools, and technologies e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Alteryx (or any other ETL tool), PySpark, Azure Synapse, AWS Glue, Google BigQuery etc.

      · Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.

      · Exposure to healthcare or life sciences industry preferred, with familiarity around data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, HIPAA compliance) considered a plus.

      Minimum Qualifications

      · Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

      Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

      · Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

      · Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), TOGAF, or relevant cloud platform certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are a plus.

      · AWS Certified Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Data Bricks certification etc.

      The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $100,00 to $125,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
