      Job Summary

      The Senior Manager, Employee Benefits is responsible for overseeing implementation and administration of the company’s employee benefits programs. This role ensures that all benefits offerings are competitive, compliant with legal requirements, are aligned with the company’s overall strategic goal, and optimize the cost-effectiveness of the company’s benefit programs. This role works in partnership with the CHRO and provides recommendations on benefit program strategy and will manage the Leaves of Absence and Benefit Teams.

      Essential Job Functions

      • Lead the execution, communication, and administration of all U.S. and select global benefit programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary, retirement plans, wellness, etc.)
      • Serve as the primary operational leader for health and welfare programs, including oversight of vendors, brokers, and internal partners to ensure effective plan performance
      • Manage the administration of 401(k), non-qualified deferred compensation, and Canadian RRSP plans; support fiduciary duties, retirement committee work, and external advisory relationships. Serve as Chairperson of the Retirement Committee
      • Drive key annual processes including open enrollment, benefits renewal, audits, and compliance testing
      • Monitor and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, IRS, and DOL regulations; oversee required filings such as 5500s, 11-K, and nondiscrimination testing
      • Collaborate with HRIS, payroll, finance, and legal teams to streamline processes and ensure data integrity
      • Lead and develop a high-performing team of benefits and leave administrators (4+ direct reports), providing mentorship, accountability, and growth opportunities
      • Act as a key partner in M&A activity—leading due diligence, plan integration, and communication for acquired entities
      • Make data-informed recommendations to enhance benefit offerings and employee experience; identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, engagement, and equity
      • Support global benefit program execution in key countries such as Canada, Mexico, and India in partnership with local providers and internal stakeholders

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Degree in HR, Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent experience
      • 3+ years’ experience managing, administering and communicating health, welfare and retirement plans and programs
      • Global benefits, specifically US, Canada, India and/or Mexico
      • Proven track record of successfully managing shifting deadlines and priorities
      • Demonstrated skills in problem solving and conflict resolution
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities, as well as flexibility to adapt to change with new systems and methods while working in a team environment
      • Manage a team of 3-4+ employees
      • Preferred certifications include: CEBS, CBS, PHR, SHRM-PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
      • Multi-state, multi-site location experience preferred
      • Experience with HRIS systems, Oracle HCM a plus
      • Experienced with Mergers and acquisitions
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

      Salary Range:

      $120k – $155k /year base salary ( + bonus eligibility)
