- Manage and lead a team of education account managers to meet overall AEX objectives for the U.S.
- Ensure tactics and activities are aligned with overall Autodesk and AEX strategy.
- Work with leaders in Marketing, Business Operations, Strategy, and Channel.
- Ensure coordination of activities and resources with direct employees and Autodesk Learning Partners.
- Represent Autodesk's vision, mission, value, and POV in several educational forums and events.
- Identify opportunities and risks with our plans.
- Work with team members to guide engagement at large accounts. Develop executive, faculty, and student engagement goals and tactics.
- Promote Autodesk advanced technology with named institution leadership, faculty, and students.
- Influence and develop lasting relationships with partners inside and outside of AEX.
- Coach individuals for growth and performance in all areas of account relationship skills. Deal with performance issues.
- Help develop and execute strategic plans and use SFDC to collect and analyze account info, activities, and opportunities.
- Collect insights from field activity to inform AEX strategy.
- Manage the team's quarterly budget and assess investment and sponsorship opportunities.
- 10+ years of experience leading teams where success is sometimes dependent on creating new ways of doing things.
- BS, or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or Technical related field
- A background in Mechanical Engineering or Construction.
- Collaborative spirit who enjoys working in a team environment and connecting different functions for greater success.
- Experienced diplomat with high levels of professional confidence.
- Experience communicating and collaborating with senior institutional leadership.
- A reputation for developing people..
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Position Overview
Autodesk's Education team is looking for a Sr. Field Engagement Manager to lead the U.S. team. You will report to the Sr. Director, Field Engagement and Autodesk Learning Partner Program. You will lead a team of passionate, experienced account managers focused on building relationships with specific institutions, faculty, and students. We ask that you lead direct and direct-led activities coordinated with Autodesk Learning Partners. The Field Engagement Manager and their team uses in-depth industry and software knowledge to guide software, workflow, and curriculum adoption with new customers to earn trusted advisor status. We ask that you help development and testing of several systems and tactics and have the ability to operate in situations that are sometimes ambiguous. You will coach individuals for growth and performance in account management and customer success. Additionally, you will increase the team's ability and confidence to influence within defined markets using Autodesk's most advanced design and make technology.
