      About the role

      Senior Manager, GBS Visual Identity and Business Improvement is responsible for developing and implementing the plan(s) to position GBS identity within the group, to shape and communicate GBS bold ambition and translate the same to the GBS colleagues to ensure that they successfully deliver their priorities. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to understand the linkage between AstraZeneca achieving its bold ambition and GBS role in freeing up time and money for the organisation to achieve its ambition. They will use their strong influencing and collaboration skills to create an environment where employees feel connected to the business and demonstrates the same in the way they think and behave. They will bring to bear validated methods, available resources, and fellow colleagues to foster a continuous improvement attitude so that GBS can deliver more hard-working, innovative ways of working that makes everyone more productive.

      They will work closely with the Head of Service Enablement to:

      ➢ Develop a GBS repository and populate it with various GBS assets in close collaboration with Service Towers and ensure periodic updating of content

      ➢ Develop comprehensive plan for enhancing GBS visual identity, both within GBS and for its collaborators

      ➢ Organize the GBS Site Representative programme to hold meeting, and managing the MS Teams workgroup to ensure materials are up-to-date

      ➢ Handle the GBS LT Site Visit workstream, and reviving the GBS LT Site Visit guidance document to drive consistent use

      ➢ Collaborate closely with Communications Lead, GBS Site Representatives to create and implement targeted plans to drive one GBS mentality

      ➢ Work with Capabilities lead, GBS Site Representatives, Site L&D lead to implement an onboarding/induction plan across GBS location

      ➢ Lead the development and delivery of the compelling GBS narrative, in close collaboration with the Comms Lead, Organizational Change Director with clear messages and sharp proof points to increase awareness, confidence, and action among employees in demonstrating AstraZeneca’s values and behaviours

      ➢ Lead the alignment of Service Tower level engagement strategies and plans to ensure a clear line-of-sight and consistent experiences for GBS employees across the globe

      Essential

      Strong leadership, influencing and collaboration skills (at the strategic and operational level)

      • Demonstrated ability to work in a global environment including understanding of and respect for diversity; customer and patient-centric attitude

      • Demonstrated ability to combine critical thinking with hands-on delivery

      • Strong project management skills with critical attention to detail

      • Ability to effectively prioritise and work proactively to deliver multiple assets simultaneously

      • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and successfully achieve results

      • Flexible work schedule to cover responsibilities.across global time zones; travel (as required)

      • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business-related field; years in the pharmaceutical industry, at a consulting firm or agency where focused on the life sciences industry.

      Desirable

      Strong knowledge of and experience working at AstraZeneca or another pharma company

      • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of or experience in a shared service operating model

      • Proficient in MS office, with advanced powerpoint skills
