- Organize & manage a multi-disciplined team to include hiring, goal setting, performance management, employee development & driving behaviors that support & positively impact employee engagement, safety & quality
- Owner of the site capital investment budget, to include maintaining budget within LE plan (95-100%)
- Drive a continuous improvement culture
- Ensure site portfolio supports NN PS, IFP, & site strategies in both short & long term
- Develop & maintain a 3 to 5 year’ roadmap of investment projects for the site, in collaboration with stakeholders
- Ensure site portfolio is executed with respect to S-Q-D-C-P goals
- Oversee site portfolio at the site IFP & PS level
- Oversee site portfolio management processes & project management processes & ensure project execution compliance
- Oversee vendor management & selection processes
- Collaborate with NNPILP OFP & NNPILP API to support NN Product Supply & IFP objectives
- Other duties as assigned
- Moves equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions
- Ability to do close precision work with their hands
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting and standing) 50% of the time
- May required corrected vision to 20/25 based on role
- May require color vision based on role
- Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder
- May be required to work at elevated heights
- Occasionally works around odorous &/or hazardous materials
- BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience, in a technical field of work such as engineering
- Relevant graduate degree
- PMP certification
- Minimum of ten (10) years of project management experience in manufacturing, maintenance, construction, or process with a preference toward pharmaceutical or other regulated industries
- Minimum of ten (10) years of direct people management experience, as well as, proven indirect leadership & influencing ability
- Functioning knowledge of the following systems is highly desired: aseptic processes, assembly & packaging processes, clean & black utilities
- Demonstrated business acumen relevant to all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated experience in improving technical & administrative processes, preferred
- Proven expertise in mentoring/development, change management, planning/organization, & project execution for complex problems solved by cross-functional teams
- Strong collaborative & stakeholder management skills required
- Ability to identify unmet business needs combined with ability to develop, drive & complete plans to address each
- Proven project management experience with direct management of multiple projects simultaneously, both large & small capital investments

The Position
Provide strategic oversight & direction for the site Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure the site portfolio is in alignment with PS, IFP, & site Clayton IFP objectives. Lead a team of project managers, including both internal & external team members, to support varying levels of capital projects for the site.
Relationships
Reports to Senior Director, Production Support.

Supervisory, ensure that reporting personnel have individual development plans (IDP), with annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business, and that interim reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities, and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process. Ensure that the IDP forms include completed learning and aspiration plans and are in place for all reporting personnel to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility. Manage the application and communication of all Novo Nordisk policies, procedures, and Novo Nordisk Way.
