- Budget, plan, oversee, and track scheduling for all projects from inception through to post-project sign-off and analysis. Leverage knowledge of project management to further reduce costs.
- Conduct site surveys as needed for wholesale and retail projects.
- Key driver in the bidding process with outside vendors and contractors.
- Review and adapt architectural plans with in-depth knowledge of cost savings, material choices, and construction timelines.
- Partner with outside construction firms in various cities throughout the United States and Canada.
- Coordinate project plan development attaining final signed approvals by senior management and accounts.
- Maintain project history library
- Prepares project launch package by collecting all information necessary to central Store Design team (Site Survey package, photo reports, vendor guidelines, brief documents)
- Defines the brief in collaboration with local market: the zoning, product offer, specific needs in terms of furniture, back office and security
- Monitors the design by collecting feedback from the regional team, budget, timeline, and quality of execution until the completion of the project
- Manage permits and landlord validation process.
- Attends site meetings, coordinates and supervises on-site installation works, and provide weekly progress reports to the central team.
- Prepares post-opening reports and ensures resolution of snag items promptly.
- Prepare documentation for strategic meetings
- Expands the pool of consultants and vendors
- Controls the tendering process
- Validates quotations, and invoices and follows up with payments to all suppliers related to the project understanding different currencies in the Americas, cost for goods/services, and conversion rates.
- Ensures & controls the maintenance of the boutiques and ensures planned scheduled repairs are carried out promptly and per the standards of the Maison in collaboration with retail operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in Architecture and Project Management in a Retail environment.
- Experience and Knowledge of the retail landscape in US & CAN required.
- Ability to quickly assess technical, architectural, and financial constraints
- Strong organizational & administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent ability to prioritize, follow through and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office Software, AutoCAD and Microsoft proficiency
- Sound knowledge of architectural design, construction technology, project supervision of retail facilities, building and safety codes
- Understanding of Visual Merchandising principles in correlation to Store planning.
- Flexibility and responsiveness to a fast-paced environment is required, along with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Must be a self-starter and self-sufficient.
- Polished negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel throughout North and South America as necessary (75%)
- Fluency in English required. Spanish & Portuguese is a plus.

Role Overview
Ensures implementation and design of all store planning projects (wholesale/retail) in the Americas Region with a focus on the execution of projects in the US and Canada. The Senior Manager in this role, in partnership with the regional teams across the Americas, contractors, consultants, and vendors, and in collaboration with HQ Store Design, all the physical Points of Sales (POS) are designed, built, renovated, and maintained to the Maison’s standards, on time and within budget.
