      Position Description

      At a Glance

      Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a remote Senior Manager, SAP Basis and Security to join the Corporate Team. As SAP Basis/security Sr Manager, the successful candidate will manage all the Basis and Security activities of SAP applications plus related architecture. Partnering with IT leaders, the candidate will lead the internal and external SAP Basis and security team to ensure a stable, compliant, and high-performing SAP landscape.

      The role is remote but requires occasional travel to meet team members, project planning and execution activities and team events at short notices.

      What Will You Do?

      • Oversee day-to-day operations of the SAP environment and provide leadership and direction to the SAP Basis & Security team.
      • Plan, communicate and deliver routine maintenance activities such as system performance, back-up, recovery procedures etc.
      • Align with the project, functional, ABAP, EDI, teams in SAP COE and Business IT plus 3rd party resources to deliver SAP program, monthly enhancements, and offshore based run support.
      • Manage internal controls, governance and SOX compliance of the SAP systems and related processes including audit activities.
      • Implement SAP security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of SAP data.
      • Develop and maintain relationship with global SAP Azure infrastructure, security compliance team and vendors.
      • Report metrices on overall system performance and availability.

      Qualifications

      Required Skills

      Education:

      • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field of study.

      Experience/Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

      • Minimum 5 years of experience leading SAP Basis and Security teams.
      • Minimum 12 years of experience in SAP with at least two full implementations, hypercare, run-support.
      • Deep hands-on experience with SAP Basis and experience managing Basis & security team.
      • Understanding of SAP security design, segregation of duties controls.
      • Experience with On-premise and cloud migrations/administration.
      • Proven experience leading technical upgrades, enhancement packs, patching and best practice-based principles.
      • Strong project implementation experience and delivering high quality solutions through functional/technical development for the purpose of meeting overall business requirements.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
