      What you will be doing:

      As the Senior Manager, Savings, Deposit Product Management, you will ensure that Tangerine’s deposit products support the strategic direction of our brand, delivers on initiatives to meet our volume and profitability goals, and deliver a wow experience in addressing the needs of Canadians. You will have a focus on the day-to-day management of the Deposit business and act as a subject matter expert for regulatory and compliance initiatives. You will work in collaboration with partners across the organization in the development and a roadmap for growth initiatives, product changes/launches and regulatory initiatives.

      Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

      • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs, attitudes and behaviours by thoroughly understanding the results of our initiatives and regularly seeking client feedback to develop a deep understanding of the client experience.
      • Drive product design, manufacturing, and competitive positioning and the development and stewardship of Tangerine Bank’s Deposits strategy looking forward across short to long term periods, leveraging internal and external support & partnerships with a global mindset using broad Market intelligence.
      • Lead the CX & Process prioritization for Deposits including directing improvement and re-engineering across all of Tangerine’s clients touching each of Tangerine’s priority client segments, in collaboration with various other teams (i.e. Agile teams, Technology, Marketing, Operations, etc.) throughout the organization to implement recommendations that strengthen deposit product features, positioning or processes.
      • Drive the overall product stewardship including regulatory obligations & changes including multi-year legislative changes & complex day to day operational priorities supporting the business.
      • Lead business casing and build relationships in support of gaining support and the necessary resources to execute and product improvements.
      • Build the case for the critical product success factors that will make our deposit products valuable to clients and profitable for the Bank.
      • Act as a deposit SME for audit and compliance initiatives, partnering with key stakeholders to ensure updated product manuals, adherence to internal policies, regulatory obligations and deadlines are met according to plans.

      Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

      • University Degree in Business or equivalent
      • 5-7 years of product management experience
      • Experience winning business case approval and following through to successful implementation
      • Thorough understanding of deposit product, key success factors and the regulatory environment surrounding them
      • Experience with digital technologies, financial products, e-commerce, payments, subscription businesses, or product design and transformation
      • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication skills
      • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to enable and motivate a cross-functional team
