      About this opportunity
At Lloyds Banking Group we're driven by a clear purpose: to Help Britain Prosper. Within the Chief Security Office, our role is to protect the Group and our customers from security threats, and to enable the Group’s businesses to make change to their services safely and quickly.

We're looking for a skilled person to shape the next evolution of our security testing capability. We want to build on our penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and scanning capability to create even higher quality security testing services which our business teams can trust to give them reliable, relevant and timely assurance of their change deliveries and operational IT – and for that service to be excellent value for money!

We're changing our ways of working to adapt to changing customer needs, to changing technology and to changing business threats and opportunities. This role will give you the opportunity to lead a team of highly skilled people through the transformation of security testing services, and to make a difference to an evolving business as part of a senior security leadership team.

      Why Lloyds Banking Group:

We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone. Including you.

      What You’ll Do

      • You'll lead skilled technical people to reshape the roadmap and delivery of an established security testing service.

      • You'll go beyond penetration testing and vulnerability scanning disciplines to build new / enhanced security testing services and you’ll assess which services best suit our internal customer’s changing needs for security assurance for quality, time and cost.

      • You'll be integral to the evolution of broader security services for the Group. Your work will support the continual development of our insights-led security vulnerability management capability and our cyber resilience.

      What you’ll need

      • Passion for understanding and mitigating the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits.

      • Experience of working in cyber security or security testing with a good understanding of the processes, practices and tools used in a large IT environment.

      • Experience leading, engaging and developing technical teams.

      • Experience making technical information meaningful to business decision makers and of making business goals meaningful to technical colleagues.

      • Experience of cost and/or supplier management.

And any experience of these would be really useful

      • A testing/cyber-security related qualification such as CEH, OSCP, CISM, CISSP, SANS, CHECK, CREST, CCSAS or similar.

      • Experience of a regulated environment, particularly financial services.

      • Ability to travel to other UK sites to collaborate with your team.
