What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead a multi-functional development team in inventing, designing, building, and testing software products for a global customer base
- Ensure overall delivery and quality of projects, enabling team success by removing impediments and clarifying goals
- Collaborate closely with product management to align on customer commitments and targets
- Mentor and motivate a high-performing team of senior technology engineers to achieve critical business goals and KPIs
- Investigate and experiment with new solutions to enhance product offerings

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree, or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Experience leading a high-performing engineering team with at least 3 years of people management experience
- Hands-on experience in at least one back-end programming language such as JAVA, Python, PHP, or NodeJS
- Deep technical knowledge in architecting and building complex software systems at scale
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more years with an Advanced Degree
- Experience building high-performing Open Banking solutions for the North American market
- Familiarity with technologies like JavaScript, Java, Python, and streamlining them for optimal product solutions
