The Opportunity The Senior Manager, Retail Operations will work with the Senior Director, Client Operations to impact key operational opportunities and drive efficiency across the store’s organization. With focus on the employee experience, this leader will work cross-functionally to create processes that engage our teams, optimize our performance and honor Bergdorf Goodman’s legacy of luxury. Key Responsibilities o Drive retail technology projects across the organization, alongside cross-functional partners, vendors and support team members. § Identify roadblocks in current retail operations, propose solutions and ultimately drive efficiency across the organization. § Maintain a keen awareness of the end-user experience and work upstream to ensure the right systems appropriately meet the needs of the business. o Lead Store Communications strategies to ensure the store organization is informed, can react quickly and receives communication through the right medium. § With the Asst Manager, Store Communications, expand on the existing communications platforms (email, intranet, etc.) and look for new, innovative options. § Liaison with Corporate Pyramids to ensure relevant information and initiatives are shared across the enterprise. o Provide strategic, operational leadership towards the achievement of our organizations ESG & Philanthropy initiatives. § Maintain collaborative partnerships with company leaders and community partners in effort to meet key donation goals or milestones. o Drive the evolution and sophistication in content presentation across retail areas. (Leadership Meetings, Special Presentations, etc.) § Establish a clear and automated communications cadence and consistency within multiple levels of the organization. § Expand the content portfolio to include other areas of the business, tracking key initiatives that will inform strategic business decisions.
