What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and oversee engagement work streams, ensuring quality control and effective execution
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling of financial data and markets
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and understand their business needs
- Collaborate with junior staff, providing guidance and support in their development
- Present findings and insights using Excel and PowerPoint to effectively communicate key results
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a relevant field required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience highly preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required
- Minimum of six (6+) years of experience in an accounting or advisory firm, specifically in audit or forensic accounting
- Experience with research software such as LexisNexis, Factiva, or Bloomberg is desirable
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with relational database programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience with Big 4 or large accounting and/or advisory firms
- Knowledge of statistical analysis programs such as SAS, SPSS, or Python
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
