  Your Role and Responsibilities

  Senior Managing Security Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Plan, design, and build cloud and infrastructure security engagements for clients. Lead consulting engagements to understand the current state of the cloud and infrastructure security posture. Develop the future state architecture and strategy to transform and migrate from the current to the future state. Lead transformative engagements and identify risks, threats, vulnerabilities, potential anomalous flows, and interactions. Work with security processes for assurance, management, and compliance. Define security subsystems, and the design of integration and deployment architectures for security in networks, infrastructure, and systems and service management systems. Act as subject matter expert and help adopting best practices such as zero trust security. Operate as an advisor in technology roadmap discussions and identify, monitor and manage the key risks and issues associated with the projects. Assist with developing a risk mitigation plan, implement risk mitigation strategies, develop contingency plans for rapid recovery and report progress to the company and the client’s senior management team. Act as a liaison with other IBM teams and work as a trusted security advisor to proactively communicate security news, including newly discovered threats and vulnerabilities, industry updates, and events or applicable security webcasts. Contribute to Knowledge Management, Consulting and Delivery Process, Methods and Tools. Utilize: Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), Network Segmentation and micro-segmentation, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Cloud Native Security Controls. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience as a Security Architect, Security Consultant or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), Network Segmentation and micro-segmentation, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Cloud Native Security Controls. $197,000.00 to $292,000.00 per year. per year.
