      Description

      The Senior Market Finance Professional collects, analyzes and reports on various market data to connect financial outcomes with operational effectiveness. The Senior Market Finance Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

      Responsibilities

      The Senior Market Finance Professional works with our local market Provider Engagement, MRA (Medicare Risk Adjustment), Clinical, and Contracting teams to drive optimization and provide support through complex analytics and reporting. The Senior Professional role will also provide insights for financial opportunities for our Medicare Value-Based Providers. This role will have exposure to regional leadership through our matrixed organization as well as external exposure to healthcare provider organizations in TX, OK, & AR. The Senior Market Finance Professional collects, analyzes, and reports on various market data to connect financial outcomes with operational effectiveness. Influences and understands both department and organizational strategy as well as operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction approaching moderately complex to complex issues, receiving guidance where needed.

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree

      • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting or data analytics (healthcare experience a plus)

      • Advanced Excel Skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)

      • Proficient in SQL

      • Ability to research, organize, and analyze data to support effective decision making

      • Expertise in data storytelling and preparing data for presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Excel

      • Strong analytical ability with a keen eye for detail

      • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

      • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Value-Based Healthcare

      • Medicare Advantage Bid knowledge

      • Knowledge of Service Fund

      • Power BI

      Pay Range

      The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


      $76,800 - $105,800 per year


      This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
