Are you a high-performance automotive enthusiast with serious engineering chops? Elephant Racing is where Silicon Valley engineering meets the world of Porsche suspension. We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to help us design, develop, and innovate suspension components for the most passionate performance driving community.

      About Us:
Elephant Racing is a pioneer in the performance suspension space, known for pushing the limits of what's possible in aftermarket Porsche suspension systems. We are engineers, tinkerers, and track junkies who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, hands-on environment.

      Your Role:
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be involved in every phase of the product lifecycle—from ideation to prototyping, through manufacturing and beyond. Your mix of CAD expertise, hands-on prototyping, and mechanical intuition will shape the future of our suspension product line, including shocks, bushings, sway bars, and active/semi-active suspension systems.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Lead mechanical design projects through the full product lifecycle

      • Create detailed engineering documentation (BOMs, technical drawings, manufacturing notes)

      • Prototype using 3D printing, machining, and hands-on tools

      • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams

      • Provide top-tier technical support to customers

      • Contribute to product improvements and maintenance

      • Represent the company at events and races

      • Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the team

      What You Bring:

      Professional Requirements:

      • BSME or equivalent technical degree

      • 2–10 years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer

      • Expert-level proficiency with SolidWorks

      • Experience with prototyping tools (3D printer, lathe, mill, etc.)

      • Mechatronics or hands-on electromechanical experience is a plus

      Personal Qualifications:

      • Deep passion for high-performance cars (Porsche/BMW )

      • Track driving, club racing, or autocross experience REQUIRED

      • Customer-focused mindset and clear communication skills

      • Self-starter with a flexible, innovative approach to challenges

      • Willingness to attend weekend events and be an ambassador for the brand

      Why Join Elephant Racing?

      • Culture of motorsports lovers who live and breathe automotive performance

      • Small team = big impact: your ideas matter

      • Access to shop and tools for your personal builds

      • Flexible hours (skip the traffic, not the fun)

      • Company-contributed medical and dental plans

      • Paid holidays, vacation, and PTO
