      ABOUT THE ROLE

      This role is a Permanent 9-day fortnight working arrangement – Worsley Alumina DIDO from Collie WA. As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for Leading a team of mechanical discipline engineers and external engineering service providers to accomplish the Team.

      Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

      • Validate quality of work performed by third parties and the related service entry sheets
      • Lead a team of experienced mechanical engineers
      • Own and maintain asset Worsley’s mechanical based technical standards and specifications.
      • Provide Guidance in Managing the statutory requirements for classified plant.
      • Provide guidance in delivery of design tasks of capital and operational projects

      ABOUT YOU

      You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

      • Visible field safety leadership and an ability to drive safety and performance excellence
      • Knowledge of mechanical engineering methodologies, tools and software’s.
      • Knowledge and experience implementing Management of Engineering Change.
      • Significant experience in delivering complete life cycle of design works within a brownfield environment within the resources or other heavy industry
      • Sound understanding and proven experience in developing and managing engineering budgets and schedule.

      Qualifications for this position are:

      • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
      • Minimum 8 years working experience in a Mechanical Engineering Role in an operating asset or Consultancy.
