- Membership Acquisition & Development
- Develop and implement comprehensive membership acquisition and retention strategies that align with the Club's goals and positioning in the luxury market.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing Members, cultivating a network of diverse individuals and influencers to drive referrals and memberships.
- Oversee the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, presentations, negotiations, and contract closing, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for potential Members.
- Personally review membership applications, leading the approval process in collaboration with the Membership Committee and Membership Manager.
- Understand and deliver the membership headcount (approvals and leavers) and revenue targets and ensure these are met or exceeded through active management and outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotions to attract new Members and engage existing Members.
- Membership Retention & Member Experience
- Oversee the handling of Member behavior issues at the Club, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
- Work with the Membership Manager to ensure personalized engagement with members who might be at risk of leaving, ensuring they feel valued and supported through regular touchpoints and interactions.
- Work closely with other departments, including events, dining, and hospitality, to create and promote exclusive Member experiences, events, and benefits that enhance the Club's value proposition.
- Collaborate with the Member Event Manager to ensure seamless execution of events and activities.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and member feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and adapt strategies as needed.
- Membership Committee Management
- Host regular Membership Committee meetings on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis as needed to review Club business items and pending Member applications / nominations.
- Ensure the Membership Committee operates at the highest standard, meeting regularly with them in between meetings to ensure they feel valued and engaged. At Committee Meetings, ensure they propose new applicants, review recent applications, and take an active interest in strategic priorities for the Club including feedback.
- Develop and implement innovative ideas to keep the Committee engaged, rewarded and incentivized, ensuring they consistently contribute to the success of the Club.
- Provide leadership and clear direction to ensure the Committee is aligned with the Club goals & values.
- Local Outreach & Strategic Partnerships
- Act as a brand ambassador for the Club, promoting its unique features, benefits, and lifestyle to potential and existing members.
- Create and execute a robust outreach program that positions FORTH Club as an integral part of the local community, ensuring representation at key external events and moments in the city.
- Build strategic relationships with local businesses, credible influencers, and cultural institutions to identify gaps in the membership and proactively pursue acquisition opportunities.
- Team Management & Collaboration
- Manage and mentor the Membership Manager, ensuring they are equipped to handle member onboarding, behavior management and administrative tasks.
- Provide clear goals and KPI’s for the Membership Manager, offering regular feedback and guidance to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
- Foster a collaborative, dynamic team culture in partnership with the Managing Director / Ops team, and the Member Event Manager, focused on delivering exceptional Member experiences and meeting targets.
- Support Membership Manager in planning monthly email headlines, to ensure Members are always up-to-date on the key moments happening across membership, events and operations at FORTH Atlanta.
- Reporting & KPI Tracking
- Manage and track sales performance, goals, and metrics, providing regular reports and updates to leadership. Understand these metrics so you can provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and manage a budget for membership sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and used efficiently.
- Maintain an active knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and local market developments to inform membership strategy and decision making.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and sales related software.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Sales or Marketing – preferably in a hospitality environment
- Strengths must include multi-tasking, problem resolution, and customer relations.
- A highly social, outgoing individual who values personal interactions.
- Ability to convert contacts and connections into applications / nominations / sales.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.

The Senior Membership Manager plays a critical role in driving the growth and success of this luxury social Club. This individual will lead the development and execution of membership acquisition strategies, build and maintain relationships with potential and existing members, and oversee the sales process from lead generation to conversion. The Senior Membership Manager will collaborate with various departments to ensure the Club's offerings meet the needs and expectations of our clientele and reflect the Club's luxury positioning. The Senior Membership Manager will lead a small team and work closely with the Membership Manager to oversee member behavior, introductions and retention.
