      Overview

      Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000 based on experience and credentials

      Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (flexible hybrid)

      The Senior Mortgage Development Facilitator focuses on the continuous improvement of the Mortgage Education programs with an emphasis on culture beliefs and key results. Under the direction of the Supervisor of Mortgage Delivery Facilitators, this individual models outstanding behaviors to conduct needs assessments, maintain curriculum, develop reinforcements, evaluate training effectiveness with professional credibility. This position will collaborate routinely with leadership and subject matter experts to uncover education gaps to deliver required knowledge and skills.


      Responsibilities

      • Facilitate mortgage training classes and demonstrate industry standard instructor competencies
      • Demonstrate effective presentation, facilitation, and questioning skills with both system and soft skills training
      • Stimulate and sustain learner motivation and engagement within the instructor-led classroom and virtual instructor-led webinar settings
      • Promote the retention and transfer of knowledge and skills
      • Reinforce and model an environment that fosters learning and performance
      • Learn and improve facilitation techniques, skills, and performance management
      • Prepare for facilitation by utilizing instructor competency methods and materials
      • Demonstrate outstanding competency in the use of technology in the facilitation process
      • Maintain and support scheduling events in the organization’s learning management system
      • Recommend improvements to the existing curriculum to maximize learning opportunities
      • Participate as a lending education resource for departmental strategic initiatives to ensure appropriate employee readiness plans are developed and executed efficiently
      • Assist with the design, development, and delivery of end-user documentation, facilitation guides, and some instructional design for microlearning courses for Lending Business Units
      • Arrange the logistics and manage administrative tasks related to lending education delivery, enrollment, and program oversight
      • Provide necessary front-line support during the development of programs, ensuring successful delivery of information
      • Design and develop end-user documentation, facilitation guides, and instructional materials for microlearning, eLearning, and instruction-led learning materials for Lending Business Units
      • Reinforce and model coaching behaviors when providing individual coaching to the associate and direct supervisor
      • Measure and monitor the effectiveness of training through regular analysis to identify gaps and recommend interventions
      • Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise
      • Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge
      • Complete annual compliance and info security training to understand employees' role in maintaining effective compliance and security programs

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, communications, english, technical writing, or a related field (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements.)
      • A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering and facilitating training materials and programs, including distance learning training programs
      • Proficient with Articulate 360
      • Experience with designing and delivering adult education programs
      • Proficient knowledge and understanding of mortgage origination and fulfillment processes, workflows, regulations, loan programs, HMDA, TRID and NMLS
      • Experience in the project management of training programs preferred
      • Experience with diverse adult learners, understanding their unique needs, and adapting teaching methods accordingly is preferred
