      Compensation includes a base salary of $107,100.00 - $160,700.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $70,000.00.

      We’re looking for a Senior National Sales Manager to join our national field sales team managing a large territory as we expand our footprint in the US. The role was created to manage and grow the largest Fleet Services accounts.

      What You’ll Do

      You’ll take full entrepreneurial ownership of the territory, with the freedom to work across industries with national service agreements. You’ll focus on finding and closing new business while maintaining executive-level relationships with current clients. You’ll create, shape and evolve a tailored strategy for large national fleets. Key to this role is the ability to manage and enhance C-Suite and Board Room relationships and articulate the Cox Automotive Fleet Services vision. You will also serve as the escalation point for issues that impact the client’s success and are accountable for issue resolution and risk mitigation. Other responsibilities include:

      • Ensuring strong relationships from the C-level to support retention and account growth.
      • Working closely with the internal teams to drive the client relationship and ensures Cox Auto / client relationship alignment with key decision makers and influencers to execute the overall client strategy
      • Developing, maintaining, and expanding account relationships through effective sales and marketing activities. Developing a deep understanding of account organizations, decision-making, and business priorities to align Fleet Services solutions to meet the ongoing needs of the client. Develop vertical industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions to customer needs.
      • Using the RITE-based selling approach to manage and successfully close complex sales opportunities
      • Fostering productive working relationships with your customers.
      • Maintaining client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance.
      • Staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors so that you can identify product improvements
      • Preparing and delivering customer reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information using Salesforce and other systems.
      • Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

      Who You Are

      Qualifications:

      Minimum Required:

      • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and eight (8) years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and six (6) years of experience, a Ph.D. and up to three (3) years of experience, or twelve (12) years of experience in a related field.
      • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
      • Must be willing and able to commit to extensive travel; up to 50% travel (day and overnight trips).

      Preferred:

      • Trucking/fleet sales experience is a plus.
      • Full-cycle direct B2B sales experience and a proven track record in high-volume sales.
      • Experience with contractual services sales and account retention and renewal processes, ideally with business process outsourcing.
      • A demonstrated ability to sell service agreements.
      • Experience selling across multiple states and geographies.
      • Strong self-discipline and a proven ability to manage a large book of business autonomously.
      • Strong team leadership skills to orchestrate “total company” solutions, including exceptions, specials, or adaptation of service offerings to meet customer and/or competitive needs.
      • Ability to systematically solve problems and hypothesize possible client pain points, expectations, and needs.
      • Computer competency and experience with Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce.
      • A process orientation and structured approach.
      • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
