- Design and implement automation solutions for enterprise infrastructure and application environments using CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
- Develop and maintain toolkits for configuration management, system provisioning, and environment monitoring using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and other industry-standard automation technologies.
- Automate and streamline build, test, and deployment pipelines for cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with development, QA, operations, and business teams to drive automation initiatives that improve delivery speed, quality, and security.
- Champion automation best practices and knowledge sharing across IT, acting as an internal consultant and mentor for automation initiatives.
- Maintain and monitor production and staging environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, applying root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Document automation processes and infrastructure workflows, ensuring knowledge transfer and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or similar infrastructure automation role.
- Broad understanding of enterprise infrastructure (systems, cloud, networking basics, security) and how these domains connect to business operations.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and implementing/managing automated pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
- Understanding of information security and compliance best practices.
- Proficient in English, allowing collaboration with a global team.
- Experience designing or managing automation for large-scale or distributed enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with cloud networking services, load balancers, or hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) or asset/configuration management databases (CMDB).
- Certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes).

Job Description
Rockwell Automation is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. As a lead engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and scaling automation and orchestration capabilities to accelerate business-to-IT delivery across our global technology stack.
You will report to the Senior IT Manager located in USA and and you will work fully remote, anywhere in the Poland.
