Job Description
- Req#: 71208
- Work in conjunction with other departments to ensure service impacting incidents are minimised.
- Deliver process improvement initiatives, seeking to reduce cost and value-add to the network services for our business units.
- Responsible for ensuring network process documentation accurately reflects the network infrastructure
- Adhere to the ANZ ITIL support models for Service Delivery and Service Support, ensuring these activities are tracked.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, GRE, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, VRFs)
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
- Ability to work with various Cisco Router, Switches, Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewalls
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve network and firewall issues
- Wireshark skills
- Working knowledge of network IDS/IPS solutions
- High level of experience and knowledge with WiFi technology
- Basic working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems
- Documentation skills
- An understanding of VMware datacenter technologies
- Working knowledge of SIEM tools
- Working Knowledge Cisco Voice platform
- Working knowledge of network monitoring solutions.
