- Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-level network infrastructure
- Serve as network architect for planning system performance, capacity, security, and lifecycle management
- Administer and troubleshoot complex multi-site wired and wireless networks
- Evaluate and implement cloud-based and hybrid networking solutions
- Monitor and secure the network using IDS, firewalls, and access controls
- Lead infrastructure projects such as Wi-Fi expansion, fiber integration, and cloud connectivity
- Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure reliable and supportable infrastructure
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and escalation support to the IT team
- Maintain documentation, standards, and tools to support ongoing operations
- Advanced expertise in enterprise wired and wireless network design and administration
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, routing protocols, and firewall systems
- Strong knowledge of network security, VPNs, RBAC, and intrusion detection/prevention
- Proven success leading large-scale infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS preferred)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments
- Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate across IT teams.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, high-performance wired and wireless networks, fiberoptic infrastructure, and cloud connectivity. In this role, you will support over 2,000 users and critical systems that ensure essential services are delivered efficiently to both staff and the public. The ideal candidate is a seasoned expert in enterprise network architecture, cloud technologies, and infrastructure modernization, with a strong track record of technical leadership in complex environments.
This role is responsible for strategic planning and hands-on management of multi-site network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. It requires expertise in both on-premise and cloud-based environments, with an emphasis on security, performance, and scalability.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $60-70/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
