      About the position:

      The Chevron ENGINE – Senior RF Network Engineer is responsible for consulting, designing, and deploying networking technologies and solutions for the enterprise and business partners. You will serve as a subject matter expert, working with various teams to improve or introduce network capabilities that support business objectives while ensuring security.

      You will work on global projects involving mergers, divestitures, and initiatives, gaining expertise in network systems, automation, wireless, RF protocols, Azure networking, and security mechanisms. The role requires identifying optimal network solutions and implementing both on-premises and cloud infrastructures according to best practices and security policies.

      Key Responsibilities:

      1. Designing wireless systems using protocols such as multipoint, LTE, and Wimax.
      2. Planning indoor/outdoor DAS/WiFi layouts, conducting site surveys.
      3. Supporting two-way radio systems (Analog, TETRA, DMR, P25).
      4. Managing SCADA and process control communication systems.
      5. Conducting propagation studies and creating link budgets.
      6. Designing microwave systems, satellite integration, and other telecom solutions.
      7. Understanding 4G/5G core and IP architectures.
      8. Implementing RF IP transport systems and troubleshooting.
      9. Creating documentation and drawings (Visio, AutoCAD).
      10. Gathering requirements and designing network infrastructure.
      11. Developing technical documentation, support plans, and providing tier-3 support.
      12. Collaborating with global teams for change management and incident tracking.
      13. Participating in business continuity and disaster recovery exercises.
      14. Maintaining network security infrastructure and supporting continuous improvement.
      15. Analyzing security needs and designing protective solutions.
      16. Following change management practices for technical updates.

      Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
      • 5-10 years of experience in network engineering and wireless communications in industrial settings.
      • Advanced English language skills.
      • RF product certifications; CCNP or CCIE preferred.
      • Expertise in:
        • Network IP Transport and services
        • RF technologies (e.g., PTP/PTMP, Cambium, Aviat)
        • Network troubleshooting
        • Advanced RF concepts
        • Machine-to-Machine and IoT solutions
      • Managing IP Transport across wireless, LTE 4/5G, VPN, VSAT/LEO.
      • Basic scripting and automation skills (Python preferred).
      • Knowledge of network monitoring tools.
      • Understanding of IP services, RF, 2-way radios, cellular, and in-building systems.
      • Basic knowledge of Network Access Control and security tools (Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Palo Alto Firewalls).

      Additional Information:

      The role supports global operations with flexible working hours aligned to business needs, typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
