Job summary
We are seeking Advanced or Emergency Practitioners from a Nursing/Paramedic background who are committed to working as part of our Urgent Care Team to deliver an excellent and caring service to our patients. We have a multidisciplinary workforce which consists primarily of Advanced Clinicians and Emergency Practitioners trained in both adult and paediatric disciplines whom are supported by GPs. The main patient groups are patients with minor injury and minor illness. Patients who present to the Urgent Treatment Centre are managed by our expert team of Practitioners/Clinicians with an undifferentiated diagnosis through a process of assessment, formulation of a clinical management plan and subsequently discharge or transfer for definitive care. Main duties of the job
The positions are full-time or part-time. We are a 7 day per week, 365 days per year service and we are looking for Practitioners who can work a variety of shifts including evenings/weekends. Our shifts range from 7.5 hours 12.5 hours and as we understand the need for flexible working, we are also open to discussing hours that suit you. Our remuneration structure is as below:
Urgent Care Practitioner - £55,123 per annum
A fully qualified Practitioner with relevant experience, qualified and educated to level 6 or 7 in minor injuries/minor illness.
Senior Urgent Care Practitioner - £60,636 per annum
A fully qualified Practitioner with relevant experience, qualified and educated predominantly at level 7 in minor injuries/minor illness with the addition of a non-medical prescribing qualification and a Masters Degree or PG Dip in urgent care.
