      Description

      The Operations Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating the day-to-day operational and logistical activities of Ball FloraPlant. The ideal candidate for this role embodies servant leadership while still driving results! Critical responsibilities for this position include leading a team of operations professionals and optimizing various processes within the department to ensure smooth and efficient operations to fulfill Ball FloraPlant’s mission of Coloring the World! This role protects and delivers on the promise we make with every customer to deliver orders on-time, in-full, first quality with world class customer service.


      Job Responsibilities and Duties:

      · Develop and implement operational plan and strategy that aligns with Ball FloraPlant’s goals .

      · Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for production farms and onshore staff.

      · Lead and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and motivation

      · Ensure a productive and cohesive work environment

      · Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to achieve operational and control operational expenses

      · Address quality concerns from offshore production farms to meet quality expectations for customers

      · Maintain business continuity plans to address unforeseen disruptions.

      · Collect and analyze operational data to make informed decisions and recommendations ranging from pricing to process improvement and streamlined operations.

      · Use data-driven insights to optimize processes and performance.

      · Collaborate with other departments and senior management to align operations with overall business objectives.

      · Lead, motivate and develop a team of managers and front-line operational employees to achieve individual career growth and company objectives

      · Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

      · Communicate operational updates, challenges, and successes effectively to department and relevant sister companies.

      · Collaborate with IT department to identify new technologies to enhance existing business.

      Requirements

      · Minimum of 10 years of customer service, operations or vendor relations experience is preferred

      · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in operations, management or relevant roles preferred

      · Strong leadership and team management skills

      · Analytical and problem-solving abilities

      · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

      · Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards

      · Intermediate-level proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required.

      · Proficiency in using SAP, Power BI, and AnaPlan systems desirable.

      · Highly organized with strong attention to detail

      · Demonstrated commitment to world class customer service, teamwork and quality.

      · Up to 10% travel - international and domestic


      Salary Range: $100-130K


      Physical Requirements:
      · Ability to Sitting/Standing 100% of the day

      · Ability to use Hands/Fingers 100% of the day
