IRC224401 – SENIOR PACKAGED & ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEER At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Packaged and Rotating Equipment Engineer within KPO in onshore Aksai field in Kazakhstan. You will be responsible for completing assigned work on time to meet KPO schedules. The work will include investigations, studies, performance engineering calculations, detailed design development, production of drawings, preparation engineering scopes of work, development of project specifications and data sheets for packaged and rotating equipment for procurement. As a member of the engineering department at KPO you will be responsible for: · Maintaining the integrity of mechanical, rotating equipment and machinery design in the Karachaganak filled facilities. · Investigation of mechanical, rotating equipment and packaged equipment issues. · Engineering changes and additions to mechanical, rotating equipment, packaged equipment, machinery, and plant. · Enquire and be submitted with necessary documentation relating to activity within the competence of this job position. · Report to the Department management about all revealed shortcomings within his/her competence. · Put forward a proposal regarding improvement of the activities implemented within this job position. · Dereliction (improper implementation) of the job duties specified by this JD — within the limits specified by labor laws of Kazakhstan currently in force. · Violation (offences) committed while implementing the job — within the limits specified by Administrative, Criminal and Civil legislation of ROK currently in force. · Property damage — within the limits of labor, criminal and civil laws of Kazakhstan currently in force. · Disclosure or other unlawful use of confidential information that the employee has become aware of in connection with the performance of work duties - within the limits specified by ROK legislation currently in force. · Supervise mechanical engineering work assigned to external design institutes and engineering companies to maintain the progress and quality of this work. · Report all progress of this work to the Lead Piping/Mechanical Engineer. · Participate in the risk assessment, hazard and operability studies and hazard identification studies of designed production facilities. · Perform peer and inter-discipline checks on work by engineers within and outside the Engineering Department. · Ensure compliance of assigned mechanical engineering work with the terms of the design brief or technical assignment and applicable specifications, codes and standards. · Perform Technical Bid Evaluations and bid clarifications for mechanical packages, rotating and other equipment. · Control technical compliance of purchased plant, machinery and associated materials. · Supervise Factory Acceptance Testing of purchased machinery. · Provide mechanical engineering support to the teams constructing and commissioning the modified or new plant. · Use domestic and international mechanical engineering Best Practices in design. · Input to equipment permitting and passports. · Participate in the update of KPO Mechanical Standards. · Perform other instructions of management / line management within its competence. This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements: · engineering practice for project concept selection, FEED study, detailed design follow-on engineering and close out; machinery and plant installations in the oil and gas industry · Senior Packaged and Rotating Equipment Engineer should have: · Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant specialty and not experience in the position of Packaged and Rotating Equipment Engineer. · Experience onshore oil and gas upstream facilities; · mechanical rotating equipment for oil and gas process plant; pressure vessel and tank design; heat exchanger design; pump sizing and specification; · mechanical theory and its practical implementation. · ROK and international codes, regulations and standards relating to mechanical engineering (in particular relevant API standards for all types of pumps, compressors and packages, ASME pressure vessel codes, TEMA Standards, API Storage Tank codes, etc); · latest developments and current best practice in Mechanical Engineering. · technical report writing, time management; Location: onshore Aksai field in Kazakhstan Work Pattern: Rotation 28/28 At Eni we believe in enterprising people, capable of making a difference and making their contribution with passion and innovation, to respond to the global challenges of the energy transition.
