About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Packaging Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in the development and optimization of innovative packaging solutions for our product line. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our packaging meets the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and consumer appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead packaging development projects from concept to commercialization, with a focus on packaging specifications, machinery, and processes.
• Develop innovative packaging concepts that meet quality, shelf life, sustainability, and cost targets.
• Conduct material testing and analysis, collaborating with suppliers and headquarters.
• Stay informed on packaging industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
• Support the evaluation and selection of new packaging materials and co-packing partners.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct scale-up tests and oversee the transition of packaging from R&D to full-scale production.
• Identify and resolve packaging-related issues, including root cause analysis of product defects.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in packaging development within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, technologies, testing methods, and machinery.
• Understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Bilingual in Korean (preferred).
