What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, maintain, and review payroll-related general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
- Assemble, create, and reconcile month-end accounting entries and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate accounting activities including account entries, analysis, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting principles
- Communicate and resolve inter-departmental accounting issues while providing guidance to other departments
- Assist with user support and testing of payroll systems changes that affect general ledger postings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of experience in general ledger research, account reconciliations, and/or financial accounting
- Strong analytical skills and expert accounting knowledge
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, and various payroll-related systems; SAP knowledge preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPA or in the process of pursuing CPA certification
