- Develop and maintain comprehensive project baseline schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating potential delays.
- Conduct schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports and earned value analyses.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project planning best practices.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and databases.
- Provide expert advice on project planning and scheduling.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks as requested/required from line manager (Director and Project Services Manager).
- Maintaining schedule and benchmark data bases as required.
- Undertaken schedule assurance reviews.
- Undertake project audits and develop earned value analysis.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project planning within the energy or natural resources sector.
- Proven expertise in using Primavera P6 (essential) and/or Microsoft Project (desirable).
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planner to join our dynamic team within the Energy and Natural Resources division. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful planning and execution of complex projects, contributing to our continued growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project planning within the energy or natural resources sector, with a strong understanding of project scheduling, risk management, and cost control.
