- Complete portions of strategic plan development management process for departments and programs; develop business plans with guidance.
- Perform statistical analysis to unlock trends and key insights critical for the success of St. Jude; summarize findings, reporting in applicable reports and track performance.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, better tools and templates to support planning and executing initiatives.
- Form productive relationships with program areas within St. Jude.
- Serve as a project manager for small standard projects; facilitate discussions at internal SPDS meetings.
- Maintain strategic planning tools to support strategic plan management; create documentation in adherence to applicable federal, state and local safety, health regulations and standards.
- Develop proficiency in two strategic planning tools.
- May mentor and provide guidance to members within the team
- Bachelor’s Degree required and 4+ years experience
- Master’s Degree preferred with 2+years experience
- Bachelor’s 4+ years in healthcare focused strategic planning or related field or Master’s and 2+ years in healthcare focused strategic planning or related field
- Experience working with strategic planning processes preferred.
- Experience in organizational problem solving, research management, operations, and project management, preferred.
- Proven performance in earlier role.

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $78,000 - $139,360 per year for the role of Senior Strategic Planning Associate.Explore our exceptional benefits!
