What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and revise administrative policies and procedures for the Department of Economic Security (DES)
- Conduct complex research and analysis of federal and state laws and policies
- Serve as coordinator and compliance monitor for assigned policies
- Provide administrative policy support and training to program staff
- Monitor and analyze legislation to assess potential impacts on DES operations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Law, Political Science, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in research, analysis, and writing focused on human services policy
- Strong skills in policy development, written and verbal communication
- Ability to perform complex analytic work and solve challenging problems
- Experience in coordinating and structuring complex concepts into understandable formats

- Advanced degree in a related field
- Experience in policy design and implementation for human services programs
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing DES programs
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
