What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide investment oversight and evaluation of assigned portfolios, including manager search and selection
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment strategies and document findings
- Lead meetings with external firms and portfolio management teams, requiring some travel
- Prepare and deliver Board materials in a timely manner
- Support the Derivatives Risk Management Program and participate in liquidity risk management committees
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant investment experience
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work proactively as a team player with a strong work ethic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Morningstar Direct preferred
- CFA/CAIA or progress towards certification, along with significant coursework in finance/investments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of various investment managers, fund complexes, and products across all asset classes
- Basic understanding of derivatives is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders
