- Undertake reception screening for new arrivals in the 1 - 14 days of admission to the prison.
- Complete a detailed reception screen and assess risk on new patients.
- Ascertain the needs that patient requires within those first 48 hours and make a referral.
- Complete secondary health screening to establish any other needs that they patient may require.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Early Days in Custody team at HMP Brixton, a category C Prison located in Brixton, South London. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.Hours
The site currently offers a 24-hour service and shift patterns.
Days - 07:30 to 17.00 or 07:30 - 20:30
Nights - 20:00 to 08:00
This position is part time working 25:5 hours per week.
Salary
You'll receive an annual salary up to £ 53,172 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
